Several freshmen "graduated" from the PASS program today thanks to their excellent performance in the first marking period! The PASS Program (Promoting Academic and Social Success) pairs incoming 9th graders with senior mentors. Together, students focus on goal-setting, study habits, and social skills such as teamwork and decision-making! Freshmen have met weekly with their mentor to practice these skills and successfully transition to high school

The freshman team finished the year with a 24-2-4 record, including last night's victory. JV's final record was not available, but we want to congratulate them on a fine season as well.

Autumn is a season of transition. When we pause to reflect on how this season is mirrored in our own lives, like nothing else, autumn teaches about impermanence. Change is inevitable. Learning to see and be curious about change in our lives helps us gain insight into our thoughts, feelings, and actions so that we can choose to move through transitions and adopt to change more consciously.
