Calling all families with future kindergarteners! If your child will be 5 years old before September 1st or turning 5 before December 1st, join us for Kindergarten Roundup on Tuesday, March 18th at 5:30 PM in Room 113.
This is a great opportunity to meet teachers, learn about our kindergarten program, and prepare for the upcoming school year.

February 3-7, 2025, is National School Counseling Week and it just so happens that our school counselor is one many haven't had the pleasure of meeting yet! Ms. Clarady joined our staff last month and we are so excited she is a Pirate. Congrats to our VEX IQ team 15017A for winning the Innovate Award at the Harbor Beach IQ Rapid Relay Tournament!
The Innovate Award recognizes an effective and well documented design process for a novel aspect of the team’s robot design or gameplay strategy. The submission of an Engineering Notebook is a requirement for the Innovate Award. The team must indicate to Judges where this aspect can be found in their Engineering Notebook via the Innovate Award Submission Information Form, placed within their Engineering Notebook. Teams can only submit a single aspect for consideration at an event. The team who earns the Innovate Award should be among the top contenders for the Design Award.

Introducing senior Lily Gornowich!
Michigan State Police came to school today to present on Internet Safety. All 6-12 students, Zion and OLLH included, were invited to attend. Students learned about some important “dos” and “don’ts” when it comes to social media and technology usage. 📱
3 high school basketball teams traveled to Marlette last night and all 3 brought home big wins!

Our bowling teams were in action last night in Bay City and our boys' team brought home another W!
This morning, our middle and high school FFA students headed to the Hope Activity Center in Port Hope to compete in the leadership contests. We will be sure to share the contest results when they are in!

Girls varsity will now play at Marlette tonight starting at 5 PM. There be a triple header; boys JV and varsity will play after the girls game.
