Exciting news! 🎉 Ms. McIntyre received a grant through Healthy Meals Incentives, which allowed her to purchase canning supplies, vacuum sealers, and food dehydrators for my classroom! 🙌
Now, she is looking for fresh produce donations 🥬🍅 to help bring this project to life! Students will learn:
✅ Healthy ways to prepare & preserve food
✅ How to budget food costs
✅ How to use local resources efficiently
Your produce can help us teach lifelong skills and support healthier futures. 💚

In addition the football team's big win, our freshman volleyball team won the Bearcat Invitational in Ubly, our girls cross country team brought home the 3rd place trophy from the Hatchet Invite, and Brody Karg continued his win streak collecting another 1st place finish also at the Hatchet CC Invitational! 🏴☠️

Ms. McIntyre's Creative Studies/Life Skills class has been busy in the kitchen! Thanks to the generous donations from the Port Hope Food Drive, our high school students cleaned, prepped, and prepared fresh vegetables — all from scratch!
On the menu: Eggplant Parmesan, Parmesan Roasted Carrots, and Healthy Carrot Cake Oatmeal Cookies.
