Both middle school volleyball teams were victorious in Sandusky last night!

There is still plenty of time to do some canning this fall! Check out this chance to snag some tomatoes and support our FFA at the same time.

Here is what the week ahead looks like at HBCS!

World History 1 students are hard at work on their first group project! Students are designing a poster discussing either the positive or negative effects of the Neolithic Revolution on human history.

12th grade students engaged in a powerful walk-and-talk session as part of their Social Emotional Learning lesson on empathy. Through meaningful conversations and active listening, they are building deeper connections and understanding with one another. #SEL #EmpathyInAction #GrowingTogether"

Don't forget, picture day is on Wednesday!

It has been a beautiful weekend in HB! If you spent it at the Harvest Festival, hopefully you had a chance to taste the delicious chilis made by our Creative Studies class and our FFA!

Some updates about our high school yearbook class 🏴☠️

It was a great night to be a Pirate on the football field and volleyball court last night!

Yesterday, the 6th graders had a chance to visit the Pointe aux Barques Lighthouse and Huron County Nature Center! Students took a tour of the lighthouse and museum and were able to learn how the lighthouse and life-saving station operate. At the Nature Center, they learned about the local plants and animals, did a walking scavenger hunt, and even spied a few sneaky creatures basking in the sun! Can you find them in the pictures?
Thank you to all who made this trip possible!

While you are at the big football game Friday night, be sure to stop and purchase a 50/50 raffle ticket from the varsity girl's basketball players to help support this worthy cause.
