Some of Ms. McIntyre’s Advanced Art students recently visited Village Glass Works, where they got a firsthand look at the fascinating art of glassblowing! Students learned about the chemistry and physics behind how heat transforms glass, then each created their own hand-blown glass ornament — choosing their own colors, textures, and designs. One returning student even took it to the next level, crafting a beautiful hand-blown glass pumpkin! This hands-on field trip continues to be a favorite year after year! 🔥✨
