Dear Harbor Beach Community Schools Families,

Welcome back to another exciting school year at Harbor Beach Elementary School! My name is Matthew Quintano, and I am thrilled to serve as your principal for the fifth consecutive year. I hope you all had a fantastic summer filled with laughter, sunshine, and plenty of unforgettable memories.

Before we embark on this new academic journey together, I want to take a moment to introduce myself. I believe that building strong relationships between home and school is the key to a successful educational experience, so let's get to know each other a little better!

First and foremost, I am a family man. I have a wonderful wife named Jillian, who is a social worker at the ISD (Intermediate School District). She is passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of students, just like we strive to do here at Harbor Beach Elementary. Together, we have been blessed with two amazing children, Emory and Everett. They bring joy, energy, and a whole lot of laughter to our household.

Now, let's talk about the most exciting part: Harbor Beach Community Schools! I am proud to say that this will be my 11th year within this vibrant and spirited community. Every day, I am inspired by the dedication of our exceptional students, the unwavering support of our incredible parents, and the boundless enthusiasm of our remarkable staff.

At Harbor Beach Elementary, we believe in fostering a love for learning that goes beyond the classroom walls. We want our students to embrace their education with curiosity, creativity, and a sense of adventure. From interactive projects to hands-on experiments, we strive to make every day a memorable learning experience.

As we dive into this new school year, I encourage you to get involved in our vibrant school community. Attend parent-teacher conferences, volunteer for events, and join our active PTO. Together, we can create an environment where our students thrive and achieve their full potential.
